Cancelling, in plain English
Plenty of tools in this space make leaving harder than joining. Here is exactly what happens to your clips and your money if you decide Reelium isn't for you.
Cancel it yourself, in two clicks
Settings → Billing opens Stripe's own customer portal — the same place you change your card or download invoices. You cancel there directly. There is no “contact support to cancel” step, no retention offer to click past, and no cancellation fee. Your plan then stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, so cancelling early never forfeits time you bought.
What you keep, forever
- Every clip you have already made — the library is not plan-gated, so a free account still sees all of it
- Your captions, hooks and edits, exactly as you left them
- Your connected TikTok, YouTube and Instagram accounts
- Access to sign in, browse and download whenever you want
What stops
- New analyses beyond the free tier's monthly stream allowance
- The paid-tier signals — gaming-event detection and the live co-pilot
- Team seats and pooled quota, if you were on a Teams plan
We do not delete your clips when you leave
Cancelling moves your account to the free tier. It does not touch a single clip. The only thing that ever permanently removes a clip is you deleting it — and even then it sits recoverable for 14 days before it is cleared for good. Downgrading is the same: your library is not gated on your plan, so everything you made on Pro is still there on free.
Changing plans mid-month
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe, so you pay only the difference for the days remaining. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal rather than instantly — you keep the tier you paid for until the period you bought runs out.
Something here doesn't match what you're seeing in your account? That is a bug and we want to know — support@reelium.ai.
